Watercooling 2.0
Stepping up from chinzy to king
My experiences upgrading my water cooling system from a Thermaltake BigWater to DangerDen components
I had to grind down one side of the RBX block to get it to fit on the motherboard. Needed about 2mm of copper removed so that it would clear the capacitors for the voltage regulators.
Finally belt-grinded off enough to get a nice fit on the processor.
Radiator mounted. Honestly, it doesn't look this blue in real life...
'nother shot of the radiator mounted... this time from the underneath.
Both blocks mounted. I had to grind down the plastic on the GPU block. It's on the back of that top plastic piece that the hose-barbs are screwed into... it wanted about 1mm less video card.
Hosed... Starting to get the hoses mounted.
Filled with liquid, and leak testing (with no power to the mobo). It's a good thing that I did too... because I didn't have one of the barbs screwed into the radiator enough...
